I thought that I knew the Jan Karski story well. I cheered the making of the film from the sidelines and believed I knew what to expect. And now I feel that it\u2019s not a film about a hero but about humanity, about Jan, whose curse was his amazing memory and high morals. The clarity of his expression, feelings and emotions he emanates, despite the passage of years\u2026 And when I saw the terrible war-time images I felt that everything in life is relative. When I was going home on this beautiful spring evening with my husband, going through Wroclaw, I asked how many days and how many bodies would we have to see on the sidewalks to stop paying attention and think only of ourselves. And the answer I got is quite possibly true. Reflections? Nothing\u2019s changed. Syria is a good example. But the man called Jan Karski is called something else today. Thank you for the film.
